Booking & Pricing

How do I book a tour?

You can book directly through the booking form on any tour page, via our contact form, by email at info@sicily-private-tours.com, or via WhatsApp. We respond within 24 hours to confirm availability.

What is your pricing structure?

Most tours start from $160 for groups of up to 4 people, with reduced rates for 5+ passengers. Pricing covers private transportation, English-speaking driver, and all logistics. Entrance fees, meals, and guide services are not included unless specified.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

A small deposit may be required to confirm certain tours, especially during peak season (April–October). Full payment details are communicated at booking.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept credit cards, PayPal, bank transfer, and euros cash. Specific payment instructions are included in your booking confirmation.

Tour Experience

Are all tours 100% private?

Yes, without exception. Every tour we offer is exclusively for you and your group — no shared buses, no other passengers, and no fixed group schedules. The itinerary, pace, and stops are entirely yours.

What language do your drivers speak?

All drivers speak English. Licensed local guides speaking other languages can be arranged upon request for an additional fee.

Can I customize the itinerary?

Absolutely. All our tours are fully customizable — stops, timing, lunch reservations, additional experiences. Contact us before or after booking to discuss your preferences.

What vehicles do you use?

Modern, air-conditioned Mercedes vehicles — sedan or minivan depending on group size, comfortably accommodating up to 7 passengers.

Shore Excursions

Are you guaranteed to return me to my ship on time?

Yes, guaranteed. All shore excursions are specifically planned around your ship's docking and departure schedule. We monitor port times in real time and guarantee your return at least one hour before departure.

Where do we meet at the port?

Your driver meets you at the pier exit holding a sign with your name. Detailed meeting point instructions are included in your booking confirmation email.

What happens if my ship's schedule changes?

If port arrival times change or the ship cancels the stop, we adjust the tour schedule accordingly or provide a full refund.

Which ports do you operate from?

We operate from Messina and Catania cruise ports. We can also arrange pickup from hotels in the Taormina area.

Practical Information

What should I wear and bring?

Comfortable walking shoes are essential for most tours. For Etna visits, bring layers and a light jacket — it's significantly cooler at 2,000 m. Sunscreen, sunglasses, and a camera are recommended for all tours.

Are tours suitable for children and seniors?

Yes. All tours are family-friendly and suitable for most fitness levels. We can adjust the pace and stops to suit your group's needs. Please mention any mobility considerations when booking.

Is a licensed tour guide included?

Our tours include a knowledgeable English-speaking driver. A licensed tour guide can be arranged in advance for archaeological sites and UNESCO locations for an additional fee.

What is your cancellation policy?
